Your ICS quality seal roadmap for every phase

Regardless of where you start: we provide the right service for your current maturity level—without detours and without overhead. Experienced companies can start directly at Level 2.

Level 1 - Design Audit

We assess whether your ICS is appropriately designed and implemented based on your policies, process descriptions, and a COSO-based questionnaire. You will receive a quality seal (Committed, Advanced, Professional, or Excellent), an ICS scorecard, and a report as a basis for improvements. The ideal starting point for companies at the beginning of their compliance journey.

Level 2 - Operating Effectiveness Audit

In addition to the design, we use sample-based evidence to validate whether your controls are effectively functioning in day-to-day operations. The Level 2 quality seal (Dedicated, Advanced, Professional, or Excellent) confirms the operational effectiveness of your ICS and creates a robust foundation for financial audits, investors, and regulators.
‍

Re-assessment and upgrade

The result is valid for 12 months. With a new assessment, you can keep your rating current or achieve a higher quality seal. Those who upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2 within 12 months will have the price of Level 1 credited.

Foundation for all frameworks

Your audited ICS is the foundation for any further evidence. Controls, responsibilities, and documentation from the quality seal can be reused via a shared control mapping.

Can't find your question? Please contact us directly.

When is the ICS quality seal the right proof, and when is an audit according to IDW PS 982 or IDW PS 951 appropriate?

The quality seal is a fast, cost-efficient, and scalable assessment of your ICS with a rating, ideal for SMEs and companies without a formal audit mandate. IDW PS 982 is the auditing standard for a formal audit of the financial reporting ICS, while IDW PS 951 and SOC 1 are used to provide evidence of service-related controls to customers. During scoping, we will clarify which proof matches your requirements and how they can be combined.

What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2, and where should I start?

The results can serve as an independent assessment for auditors and be incorporated into their audit approach. This can reduce the effort required for their own control tests. The auditor decides at their own discretion whether and to what extent they will utilize the results.

How long does it take, what does it cost, and how long is the seal valid?

Depending on the package and level, the rating is available within 5 to 15 business days. The entire process generally takes 4 to 6 weeks. Prices apply per assessment and are transparently listed on the pricing page. The result is valid for 12 months, after which a new assessment is required for an up-to-date rating.

How can we use the seal?

You will receive the quality seal as an image file, along with a PDF report containing an ICS scorecard and compliance rating. You can use the seal externally, for example on your website, in your email signature, or in investor presentations. Depending on the package, sharing the scorecard with stakeholders is also included.
